Menachem
Bar-Shalom is a
pioneer in this
unique genre of
artwork, a combination of photography and collage. He creates each
piece painstakingly by hand, with a lot of planning (usually) and
patience (always). Bar-Shalom
measures the placement of each photograph to the millimeter using only
a ruler.
|
He looks into each
new
photo and
experiments until he
finds the best design. Bar-Shalom uses between 16-96 photos per work.
The result is
what
you
see before you.
